Ride Cornwall

"RideCornwall' offers unlimited off-peak rail and bus journeys in Cornwall and to/from Plymouth. The product gives the holder one day's unlimited travel on all rail and most bus services within Cornwall and between Cornwall and Plymouth (plus the Tamar Valley Line), after 09 00* Monday to Friday and at any time on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. `Ride Cornwall' is valid on the following operators' services:

First Great Western, CrossCountry Trains, First Devon & Cornwall, Western Greyhound

Adult - £10.00, Child - £7.50, Family (up to 2 adults and 3 children) - £20.00

* - also valid on the 08 14 Plymouth - Penzance, 08 40 Plymouth - Gunnislake and 08 33 Liskeard - Looe trains

Devon Day Ranger

The Devon Day Ranger ticket gives the freedom of Devon's rail network for the day.

The Ranger covers all routes in Devon and as far as Tiverton Parkway and Axminster, plus the Tamar Valley Line from Plymouth to Gunnislake. The equivalent ticket for Cornwall is Ride Cornwall.

Adult - £10.00 adult, Child £5.00

Valid after 09:00 (or whenever the Off Peak Day Return is available, whichever is earlier) weekdays, anytime weekends and bank holidays.

There is also a Devon Evening Ranger, valid after 18:00 seven days a week, which costs £5.00 adult. This is also valid on the 17 29 Tamar Valley Line service from Gunnislake.

Branch Line Rangers

Ranger tickets, giving the freedom of a branch line for the day, are available for the Tarka Line, Tamar Valley Line, Looe Valley Line, Atlantic Coast Line, Maritime Line and St Ives Bay Line.

Adult fares are £9.40 Tarka Line, £5.20 Tamar Valley Line, £4.00 Looe Valley Line, £4.50 Atlantic Coast Line and £4.00 Maritime Line. GroupSave allows up to four people to travel for the price of two adults.

On the St Ives Bay Line, the Adult Day Ranger fare is £4.00. A Group Day Ranger costs £8.00 and covers up to four adults, a Family Day Ranger costs £10.00 and covers up to two adults and three children (5-15).

Valid after the morning peak on weekdays (no restriction on the St Ives Bay Line), anytime weekends or bank holidays, a branch line Ranger ticket is perfect for using the train for walks or to explore a Rail Ale Trail.

Dartmoor Sunday Rover - 2012. Full details for 2013 still awaited.

Dartmoor Sunday Rover gives a day's unlimited travel on a number of rail and most bus services in Devon on Sundays from 26 May to 15 September 2013.

Train services included are Plymouth - Gunnislake (Tamar Valley Line), Exeter - Okehampton, Exeter - Barnstaple (Tarka Line) and Exeter - Digby & Sowton. Bus services include all Stagecoach buses and several First buses in Devon and a number of services operated by Western Greyhound, Country Bus and Beacon Bus.

Looe Valley Explorer

The Looe Valley Explorer allows a day's unlimited travel on the Looe Valley Line and Western Greyhound's route 573 between Liskeard town centre, station, East and West Looe, Hannafore Point and Polperro.

Valid anytime - cost £4.00 adult, £2.50 child (5-15 years), £2.65 Railcard.

Freedom of Devon and Cornwall Rover

The Freedom of Devon and Cornwall Rover ticket offers you a choice of either a 3 day (any 3 in 7 - you choose when you want to go) or an 8 day (any 8 in 15 days) ticket offering the freedom of the whole of Devon and Cornwall and as far as Tiverton Parkway and Axminster. Valid after 09:00 (or whenever the Off Peak Day Return is available, whichever is earlier) on weekdays, anytime weekends and bank holidays.

3 Day Rail Rover *Adult - £42.00 (£45.00 from 19 May)
8 Day Rail Rover *Adult - £63.50 (£69.00 from 19 May)

Freedom of the South West Railrover

It is as it sounds: unlimited off peak access to all of the South West by rail for either any three days in seven or any eight days in fifteen. In addition to just Devon and Cornwall, the Freedom of the South West Rail Rover is also valid on services as far as Bristol, Cardiff, Swindon, Salisbury, Romsey, Yeovil and Weymouth.

The ticket is also valid to Worcester and Great Malvern, Gloucester via Yate, Chepstow and Stroud, Eastleigh, Southampton and Portsmouth, Lymington, Bournemouth and Weymouth via Poole.

Valid after 09:00 (or whenever the Off Peak Day Return is available, whichever is earlier) weekdays, anytime weekends and bank holidays.

A great value flexible ticket that costs:

3 Day Railrover *Adult - £74.00 (£79.00 from 19 May)
8 Day Railrover *Adult - £100.50 (£109.00 from 19 May)

Ranger and Rover Information

• Prices are valid up to 10 August 2013. Prices changing on 19 May are shown.

• Rangers and Rovers are available all year round and can be purchased from almost every staffed National Rail station.

• * Holders of Young Persons, Senior and Disabled Railcards receive a one third discount on Rangers and Rovers (subject to normal Railcard conditions). Children (5 - 15) usually pay half fare. Holders of Devon & Cornwall Railcards receive a one third discount on Freedom of Devon & Cornwall Rovers, Cornwall, Devon and branch line Day Ranger tickets and the Devon Evening Ranger. St Ives Bay Line Ranger - Railcard discounts are only available to holders of Devon & Cornwall Railcards. Looe Valley Explorer - Railcard discounts only available when ticket is purchased at a station or on train.
